Last week, without knowing about each other, a leadership coach on Instagram, a trainer posting on LinkedIn, and a handful of other strangers online all started reaching for the exact phrase “Awareness Intelligence.”
A leadership coach posted about “Awareness Intelligence” on Instagram. A separate voice, unrelated, posted the same two words the same week. A LinkedIn post argued: “Without self-awareness, intelligence becomes capability without direction.” Another declared: “Self-awareness intelligence sees the blind spots.”
None of these appear to be coordinated or citing each other. None of them are citing a shared source.
And every one of them is using the phrase Awareness Intelligence to mean something different. I sat with that for a while.
Because this is not a coincidence in the way we usually mean that word. Separate scientists have, more than once in history, discovered the same thing independently, at the same moment, simply because the conditions were ripe for it to be seen. Several unrelated voices reaching for the same two words in the same week is not marketing copy, and it’s not an accident. It’s evidence that something real is currently pressing on the collective mind — the same convergence I’ve been pointing to for years, arriving now in the language itself, before anyone has the framework to hold it.
Here is what all of them are describing, in their own words — becoming aware of your own patterns, catching your triggers, seeing your own blind spots.
That is a real and useful thing. It is also not Awareness Intelligence.
What they are describing is a mind watching itself. A more refined mind, a more skillful mind — but still, entirely, a mind. Self-monitoring is still self, monitoring and coming from a place of duality. There is still a watcher, still a perceiver, still a Self standing just behind the noticing, quietly making sure it is acknowledged for having noticed.
Awareness Intelligence is not a sharper version of that watcher. It is the absence of the watcher altogether.
Consciousness is dual by nature — it always requires a perceiver and a perceived. It requires the perception of an object of experience, which brings about an experience of a Self that is perceiving — a Self that seems real when it appears, but in truth has no reality.
Awareness has no object of experience. There is nothing standing apart from anything to observe. When you are, you just are — there is nothing to experience. There is no object of experience. This is the essence of being. Its nature is non-dual.
Every one of those scattered posts is groping for something their readers already feel is true — that as AI gets more capable, awareness becomes the more valuable human trait. They are right that this is true. None of them actually say why, or how structurally.
Awareness Intelligence is the ground of Being from which knowledge and action spontaneously arise once the illusion of separate reality — the perception of Self — has dissolved in awareness. It does not describe a mind that has gotten better at watching itself. It describes what is already here the moment there is no longer anyone left who needs to watch.
Awareness Intelligence taps into the self-knowing nature of Being. From here, life unfolds with greater ease, synchronicity, coherence, and authenticity — the script begins to write itself.
You can be aware of being consciousness. You cannot be consciousness of being aware. You can only be what you are.
The Class of Problems AI Can’t Touch
There is a certain class of problems that Artificial Intelligence can’t touch — problems of trust and authenticity, false urgency, exhaustion and overwhelm, resistance, meaning. And beneath all of them, the one they all rest on: knowing your true nature.

None of these are solved by thinking harder. None of them are solved by a faster model. They dissolve only in awareness.
Why This Matters — Especially If You’re an Entrepreneur
Right now, “Awareness Intelligence” is still soft clay. Nobody owns it. Nobody has defined it with precision. That will not stay true for long — someone will give this phrase a rigorous, lasting definition, and whoever does will own the category it becomes.
Awareness Intelligence is the ground of Being from which knowledge and action spontaneously arise once the illusion of separate reality — the perception of Self — has dissolved in awareness.
Most people responding to AI’s rise are competing on the same ground everyone else is standing on — better prompts, better productivity, better emotional intelligence training. A handful of unrelated people have just handed the world a name for the thing that actually points to a new distinction, a new possibility — and left it undefined.
The businesses that will matter most in the next several years will not be the ones who out-generate AI. They will be the ones who can point to something AI structurally cannot reach, name it precisely, and teach a path to it. They will be the ones who can discern Awareness Intelligence from Artificial Intelligence and apply this in how they operate as an entrepreneur. The time has come. The world has started reaching for the name.
Return to Being.
The world just started reaching for the right word. It doesn’t yet know what it’s asking for.
