After my eye opening journey to Spain, where I learned to overcome my stammering as well as speak Spanish fluently and the art of Flamenco dancing, I felt ready to take on the world or at least my senior year of medical school.
I told myself if I could travel through Europe and conquer my fears about not knowing anyone or speaking the language I could overcome anything.
During my summer abroad I realized that I was the source of my entrapment. I am the source of all that manifests in my life. No one else or nothing else. I am the source. Now what am I going to do about it.
I made a commitment from there on out that my life would be forever changed. And it has been because of the CHOICES I have made and continue to make on a daily basis.
I made a choice to return to medical school. I made a choice to work for Doctors without Borders. I made a choice to not stammer any more. I also made a choice to start using A New Language for Life.
- Looking back on your own life – what choices have you made that have had big impacts on your life?
- When have you taken a stand?
- What choices have you regretted?
- How have your choices impacted your relationships with friends, family and co-workers?
- Are you happy? Could you be happier?
- What changes are you willing to make?
