Dear Reader,

I hope this email finds you well and in good spirits. Today, I want to share some profound insights that emerged from a recent podcast interview I had with John Kremer. We delved deep into the concept of self and explored how the mind creates an illusion that keeps us trapped in an experience of ourselves that is not our true selves.

One of the key revelations that surfaced during our conversation is the idea that having an experience of oneself is the ultimate illusion. It is the ultimate setup for the mind to thrive. The truth is, you cannot have an experience of yourself.

You are yourself.

The mind creates a duality of experience which gives you a sense of self that is not your true self and you get hooked into that sense of self. We say, “well that is me,” which then becomes what we then engage with in our consciousness and starts to occupy our consciousness.

However, this is far from the truth.

The moment you identify yourself with these fleeting experiences, you become entangled in a web of untruths that keeps you disconnected from your true self.

The truth is and you may have never thought about it, you are not what you experience. How can you ever be what is only momentary.

Just think about it! That’s nonsense! Experience comes and goes. It’s only there for one or two seconds or milliseconds. It is momentary and so how can you be that which is momentary? That is absurd!

This is part of the dynamic of the mind that it calls up a thought the mind creates the illusion of a self that is not your true self. And that illusion is located inside of duality which is what language creates in your consciousness.

Imagine being caught in a cycle of self-identification, where every experience reinforces a false sense of self. It’s like a magician’s trick, diverting your attention away from your true self and trapping you in a narrative that is not your true self.

The key to liberation lies in recognizing this illusion for what it truly is – a construct of the mind that keeps you from experiencing your authentic being.

In being, there is no experience of ourselves. Have you ever noticed that when you’re just there, you’re just there? There’s not an experience of yourself. There is no self to experience in being.

When you just are, without attaching yourself to fleeting experiences, you tap into a state of pure being. This is where true creativity, inspiration, and authenticity reside. By letting go of the illusion of self, you open yourself up to a world of infinite possibilities and genuine connection with your true essence.

I invite you to reflect on your own experiences of self and see them for what they truly are – fleeting moments which is not waht you truly are. Embrace the power of just being, without the need for validation or identification with the transient experience of yourself. By doing so, you will unlock a sense of freedom and authenticity that is beyond the limitations of the mind.

Thank you for taking the time to read my email blog. I hope these insights resonate with you and inspire you to embark on a journey of self-discovery and liberation. Remember, the path to true authenticity begins with letting go of the illusions created by the mind and embracing the beauty of just being yourself.

Wishing you a week filled with moments of pure being and self-discovery.

To your incredible success,

Dr. Louis Koster
