Living the possibility of oneness, you are present to the simultaneousness of all things, and you realize that time as such does not exist. Time is what “I” creates as an illusion, when you enter into a relationship to being as a substance and you are brought in a space of separateness to life. Time is a way of holding something in our attention. Time is a reflection of the movement of the mind. Time is a way for us to organize our experience of life in the eternal now.

If you dare to trust your experience of life that in your best moments there is no notion of time, but a sense of it all, a sense of oneness, and you hold this as true, then you come to realize that time as such may not exist as an independent reality in the universe.

Time comes into existence the moment “I” is present and you enter into a relationship to being as a substance, which gives you a sense of permanency and continuity of life. When “I” is transparent, you are present to the simultaneousness of all things and there is the absence of any sense of time. There is synchronicity in your life and an ease in the way your day unfolds. Time is created in the dance of “I” and the way you come to experience the world.

Maybe the belief that there is a past and a future that live “out there,” is just a belief, rather than a way you come to experience life as an observer. Maybe the most powerful beliefs in our culture of humanity are “I” and “Time.” Maybe “I” and “Time” as such are just an illusion, i.e. helpful constructs that enable you to be effective in the eternal now, but somehow you have forgotten that they are just mental constructs in helping you navigate the world you live in.

If you were to consider this as true, you are then left with the simultaneousness of all things and the oneness of life as a mystery. Maybe the mystery of life is the oneness of life and the simultaneousness of all things. Maybe the simultaneousness of all things is real and valid, although you do not yet have the capacity to grasp it fully. Maybe just considering “the simultaneousness of all things” as a possibility allows you to break through your self-imposed limitations of space and time and step freely into the eternal now, where anything is possible and “you are no longer a passive bystander to the dance of the universe, but are a creative choreographer of matter, life, and intelligence.”

Maybe “I” and “Time” are just ideas that you assign intrinsic properties to, and therefore as such bring you in a space of separateness to life. If you don’t bring any thought or perspective to the idea of “I” and “Time, then these ideas organize your actions in a way that you lose your sense of freedom to be, your sense of connectedness to life, and you are lost in life. You lose your capacity to choose and are limited in expressing your real potential. You start to live a life of struggle and suffering. You say “time is running my life,” or say “I feel confined by my circumstances,” but the limitations are within you, in the way you perceive yourself and the world.

Maybe, “I” is just a way of looking at things. It is not who you are. Maybe, “time” is just a way of organizing your life, but is not the way of life. Maybe “I” and “Time” are just ways of being that allow you to be effective in the eternal now and allow you to navigate life in the eternal now. However, “I” and “Time” as a way of navigating the winds and storms of life, do not navigate you “home” to being and to the oneness of life.

Indigenous people experience the simultaneousness of all things inside their sense that everything is connected to everything else. “Time” is not a ruling force in their lives, but oneness is what governs their lives. For most of us, “time” estranges us from the path of oneness. Where our issues arise in life is in the difficulty finding our way home again to being, in the middle of our busy lives. The presence of life eludes us and we are estranged from the oneness of life.

Living the possibility of oneness, you are now present to the simultaneousness of all things, and the nature of things is no longer “hidden” in their “intrinsic properties,” waiting for you to be discovered, but is now unveiled to you in their interconnectedness; in how everything correlates to everything else and how everything enfolds in everything.

Living the possibility of oneness, you now come into a true reverence for life, being self-referential. The “I” loses its spell on you as a way of asserting yourself in the world and as a way of bringing understanding to the world. The “I” is now at the service of being, and no longer is at the expense of being.

If we can come to a point as homo sapiens that we hold “the simultaneousness of all things” as a possibility, and we dare to consider this, and at the same time honor the way we experience the world in a linear reality as useful and necessary, and bring perspective to this reality, then maybe we can make the evolutionary leap beyond the entrapment of “I” and “Time,” and step into homo futuris that has the potential to grasp the simultaneousness of all things beyond the horizon of what is, and we come into our true potentiality as a human species.

Maybe the underlying reality of our experience of life in the spiritual world is the oneness of life, similar to the “ground of being” in quantum physics. Maybe the time has come for philosophy, physics and mysticism to find common ground and come into a common language for life inside the possibility of oneness.

Maybe, the time has come to start a new conversation for life and change the discourse of what it is to be a human being.  Maybe it is time to come into a new ontology for life that honors the integrity of being, and unleashes the human spirit beyond the horizon of what we see as possible.

In the presence of oneness, you are present to the simultaneousness of all things.
