When you trust life and you embrace birth as fundamentally good, then integrity informs you and courage comes to you to trust death as something that is fundamentally good as well, although you may not fully understand it.

Once you embrace death as something that is fundamentally good, death starts to occur to you as a possibility for something; the possibility of completing on a great life; the possibility of entering into a new expression of your spirit.

When my father died a few years ago, there was sadness, but I was also present to a sense of joy, since his death occurred to me as the completion and celebration of a great life. He was a great man; a respected pioneering surgeon who had made a difference in the lives of thousands of people. He was a great father. If he were the only person to die on earth, then I would be profoundly sad. But it is the nature of life that we are born into the possibility of what it is to be human and then we die. Our life is but a breath of inspiration in the vast universe.

If you can come to a place where you embrace death as fundamentally good, you are truly free to be and a new perspective for living opens up for you.

How we relate to our own passing reveals the fundamental inauthenticities in the way we live our lives. We relate mostly to death as something we avoid talking about and pretend that it will never happen. We avoid people who are dying. We relate to death as something we do not allow ourselves to be in the presence of as a possibility.

Our paradigm of medicine is organized around disease prevention. We do not live a paradigm of healing that prepares and supports the living to have a wholesome and fulfilled life. We do not realize that our efforts to prevent disease, actually strengthens the diseases we are trying to prevent. When our attention is focused on avoiding the presence of something, it only grows in our experience. The simple truth is that we can’t avoid death, but we can choose to be at peace with it – while we are alive. When our attention is focused on what heals being and contributes to a sense of wholeness, we create the condition for a healthy and happy life.

Trusting life expresses the ultimate integrity in relationship to life. When you trust life and you dare to embrace death as something that is fundamentally good, you start to see the deception and the inauthenticity that “I” creates in the idea of permanency and continuity. You are then suddenly present to a serene silence and an overwhelming sense of peace. Truth has come into being. There is a complete freedom from fear. You can now face anything. You are now a person who truly knows. Your spirit is free.

As spirit you now recognize a new language for life as a song that celebrates life and provides a passage for spirit to evolve inside the oneness of life during our temporary visit on planet Earth.

An Australian Aboriginal proverb says: “We are all visitors to this time, this place. We are just passing through. Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow, to love… and then we return home.”

If you can come to a place where you embrace death as fundamentally good and as a celebration and completion of living the possibility of a great and wholesome life, you are truly free to be.

Now you hold someone’s life, any life, as celebration of spirit. Now it comes to you naturally to have a reverence for life. It now comes naturally to you to honor the dignity of the human spirit.

Being able to be in the presence of the possibility of death gives rise to a presence where life is sacred and all things are one. A pure existential joy, which is beyond happiness, overcomes you. Being able to be in the presence of the possibility of death allows you to be in the service of humanity. It allows you to live your life with delight and enchantment, each moment of the day.

Life is a journey of spirit. Happiness is a journey of “being,” i.e., being one with life, no matter what life brings to you.

Life on earth is but a temporary visit in your spiritual journey.

Living a new language for life allows you to move away from the darkness of death and come to peace with the mystery of life. It allows you to live life with a lightness of being.

Living a new language for life provides a passage for spirit to come through as it is meant to be during our temporary existence on planet Earth and for consciousness to awaken to a new level of oneness.

Living the possibility of a new language for life, infinity comes into presence in the eternal now, and a profound peace overcomes you.

In a new language for life, you come to a place, where you no longer are afraid of death, but embrace death as a new possibility for living.
